Case 01 · Mark · Demo data

Sample watermark frame

A photo exported by Mark: a camera silhouette at dusk by the sea, with a white settings strip along the bottom
A sample exported from the Mark web app. The camera and exposure values in the strip are demo data.

Where it came from

The photo is from Unsplash: Franz Nawrath's shot of a camera in silhouette against a seaside dusk.

Its original EXIF had been wiped. To show the watermark, we wrote in a demo body, lens and exposure, then exported it from the Mark web app. The settings you see are not how this photo was actually taken.

What it used

Mark read the EXIF, filled gaps from XMP, matched the logo and used the Standard template. It all ran in the browser; nothing was uploaded.

What changed

The picture wasn't cropped or downsampled; a settings bar was added underneath. Demo values went into the EXIF, and any GPS data would be stripped on export, which can't be turned off.
