Zlens: a camera remote on your phone

The camera sits on the tripod and you don't have to stand next to it. Frame, adjust and fire from the phone, and the RAW files come straight across.

Not out yet. Drop us a line and we'll email you on launch day.

Pair it once and forget it

The first time, a guide shows which menu item to open on your camera. After that, Zlens reconnects by itself.

Bluetooth wakes the camera, files travel over Wi-Fi, and USB is the fallback.

The main lines from Sony, Nikon, Canon and Fujifilm are all on file, plus a few older Nikon bodies with no wireless built in.

Each profile says which channel that camera uses.

No ads. Pay $19.99 once, and try the whole thing in demo mode first.

Channels: Wi-Fi (PTP-IP) primary, Bluetooth LE resident, USB fallback
Monitoring: Focus peaking, histogram, zebras, false colour, waveform, vectorscope
LUTs: .cube import, four built-in Log to Rec.709 conversions
Transfer: RAW originals, resumable, already-sent files skipped, built-in FTP
Live Photos: Android Motion Photo and iOS Live Photo, adjustable length
On-site review: Phone as hotspot, clients star their picks, you see it live
Account: Email one-time code; delete it in the app any time
Price: $19.99 once, yours to keep, no subscription

Will it definitely work with my camera?

The profiles describe what each body supports at the protocol level. Field results for each model will be published at launch.

How fast does RAW transfer?

It depends on the camera, the file size and the wireless conditions. We don't quote speeds we haven't measured.

Is anything missing on Android?

No. Android gets everything first; iOS follows, no date yet.
