paida: pose from a reference photo
Save a photo you like and paida turns it into an outline in the viewfinder. The photographer lines up the outline, the subject listens for cues, and when it all matches the shutter fires by itself.
Two people, two sets of cues
For the photographer, on screen
“Crouch lower.”
“Step back.”
For the subject, out loud
“Raise your hand.”
“Look into the distance.”
One cue at a time, and the subject installs nothing.
Hold the match for half a second and the shutter fires once. You can turn that off.
From screenshot to reference
A screenshot or built-in template is read on the phone into a skeleton, a position and a direction. App chrome gets cropped out.
The free version has 10 templates and holds 3 of your own references at a time.
